BADSWORTH VILLAGE FETE

Once again the fete will be held on the School Field with additional events in the Lawson Hut.
The Fete will start at 10.30am and will be opened by Mr Richard Metcalfe, Managing Director of Rogerthorpe Manor
Stalls booked already include, Florist, Plant Sales, Fresh Bread, Various Crafts, Face Painting and Ice Creams.
On the field there will be Steam Train Rides, Roundabout, Bouncy castle, Barrel Organ, Police and Fire Brigade demonstrations, various competitions - Parachute games, Welly Wanging, Shots-in, Splat the Rat, Human Fruit Machine, Children’s Football, Children’s races, Paper Aeroplanes, Tug O War and a Children’s Fancy Dress competition.

A Children’s Clown will entertain on the field with a show followed by Balloon modelling, - Sponsored by the 78 Club
In the LAWSON HUT try your hand on the very popular Flight Simulators.
Refreshments will also be available here.
This will be the centre for the Badsworth Scarecrow Competition.
Maps and “Scarecrow recognition” competition entry forms will be available here on the day and also in the evenings Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 25th – 27th June 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
In addition the Church and Tower will be open to visitors and refreshments served in the St Mary’s Centre
The Scarecrow Competition is to be sponsored by Rogerthorpe Manor
Scarecrows this year will have Nursery Rhyme Themes and will be on display around the village from the evening of Wednesday the 25th June until 4th July.
