We are sorry to see that some dog owners have missed out on the opportunity to become the first to allow their dog to foul the new Badsworth/Rogerthorpe footpath.

It seems as though within minutes of a section of path being covered with crushed stone and rolled several dogs have fouled the path.

Come on now, this path is supposed to be a village amenity PAID for by efforts within the community and for the use, among other things, of children walking to school.

The path was shown as a requirement by residents in the compilation of the village plan

If it is you, please pick up and dispose of, as we assume you would on your own property.

If you see someone allowing their dog to foul the path, remind them to remove it, or contact the dog warden on 0845 8 506 506
